The word SEWA in Sango ( the national language of the Central African Republique) means friendship. This is in essence what our organization and this blog aims to create: A place of friendhip for all individuals from Central African Republic or who consider themselves friends of the Central African Republic.
Sewa was created by the members of the Central African Republic community living in the Washington metropolitain area. We are a non political, non religious and non ethnic group affiliate non profit Organization which focuses on supporting the central African Diaspora and providing a platform of exchange and assistance on challenges they face as immigrants abroad. Our ultimate goal is to foster a brotherhood spirit along with entrepreneurship initiatives.

Le mot SEWA en Sango ( La langue Nationale de la Republique Centrafricaine ) veut dire " membre d'une meme famille ". Cela definie notre Organization : Une entite ou tous les centrafricains et amis de la Centrafrique peuvent se rencontrer pour des actions "Positifs"
Sewa a été crée par des membres de la communauté centrafricaine vivant dans la région de Washington DC. Nous sommes une organisation a but non lucratif, apolitique, laïque et sans affiliation ethnique. Notre objectif est de soutenir la diaspora centrafricaine en lui apportant une plateforme d’échanges positifs en l’aidant a faire face aux défis inhérents a l’immigration et la survie a l'etranger. Notre but final est de cultiver l’esprit d’entraide, le communautarisme, ainsi que les initiatives d’entreprise.
